Hello! My name is Liz Tveten. I have a Bachelors Degree in Marketing from the University of Central Florida. I have extensive experience in marketing and sales but discovered a passion for graphic design and web design/development and decided to go back to school.
Educational background also includes an Associates Degree in Visual Communications from the Milwaukee Area Technical College. I also obtained a Technical Diploma in Web Design/Development. While in school I have also earned certificates in Graphic Arts and Photography and Digital Imaging. I have taken courses on Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, HTML/CSS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery and more. I am ambitious, self-motivated, and hardworking.
During school, I completed two internships. At Paper Pleasers, LLC, I was a Design Intern where I focused on print design such as invitations for weddings, showers and birthdays. I learned about the production process and assembled paper products. Also, I was also an Interactive Design Intern at Hoffman York where I was later hired full time as a Digital Production Artist. I created digital designs for storyboards, flash and HTML5 banners, print, emails, and wireframes. I aspire to become a Digital Art Director or Creative Director.
